About Jimmy Logan

Jimmy Logan’s career has taken him around the world and into the heart of some of America’s most significant events. At the age of 18, he joined the team that established Houston’s first local Christian broadcasting station, KLTJ, and three years later was promoted to production manager. It was here where he honed his producing and directing skills by creating over 10,000 hours of live and live-to-tape productions and eventually caught the attention of then producer/director, Joel Osteen.

Jimmy joined the taping team at Lakewood Church operating their Tulip camera crane on Sunday mornings and directing special events like concerts and live broadcast remotes from the church.

In 1994, Jimmy was chosen to produce and direct 26 episodes of The Tammy Faye Show. This was Tammy Faye’s first hosting role after the demise of PTL. Jimmy worked closely with Tammy Faye to develop an appropriate vehicle for her personality which turned out to be a launching pad for a daily FOX network show, The Jim J and Tammy Faye Show.

Jimmy gained an even deeper knowledge within an International broadcasting organization while serving for two years as an editor for Life Today with James Robison until returning to Houston to develop a broadcast ministry for Houston’s Grace Community Church. At Grace, Jimmy worked closely with Pastors Steve and Becky Riggle to create weekly broadcasts that grew in reach from local to regional and eventually national and international outlets.

While producing a television special about Alabama’s Chief Justice Roy Moore’s refusal to remove a controversial Ten Commandments monument, Jimmy was present in Judge Moore’s chambers when his assistant told him that his colleagues had voted him off the bench.

Jimmy continues producing weekly television broadcasts for several ministries.
